Catawba Valley Music Revival, Inc. is all about letting kids show off their talents.

Catawba Valley Music Revival, Inc. announces the beginning of its free, 4 hour Music Camps.  The non-profit organization will sponsor three levels of camps this summer at the Catawba Valley Music Revival Music Park, 5799 Coot Williams Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.
The first level of camp, SING TO ME is a non-musician’s bluegrass appreciation class and is open to 12 year olds and younger.  Attendees will be introduced to bluegrass music, learn to identify different bluegrass instruments, learn a little about timing, strum a ukulele and sing a bluegrass song or two.
The second level of class, ME AND MY BLUEGRASS brings together beginning musicians ages 18 years and younger, to discover what bluegrass is and what makes it different.  Students will work with instructors and jam with other classmates.
Intermediate and skilled musicians will participate in MAKE MINE BLUEGRASS.  Open to 18 year olds and younger, these young musicians will take part in structured and unstructured jamming, be encouraged to try out their singing abilities and fellowship with other young musicians that share a common interest… …Bluegrass!
