Tyler Leonard Wins Best Upcoming Star Award
Grandpa
Max Neill taught Tyler his first three cords when he was eight years
old. That was four years ago. Rock and roll was Tyler's choice of music
then, but as they say, he made his first G Run and now he is Bluegrass
to the bone.
Tyler can be heard making those hot licks around the Western Lincoln
County about 4 nights a week. The practicing paid off when he attended
the November 27, 2008 Lake Norman Fiddlers Convention in Denver, NC.
Tyler Leonard walked away with the 'Best Upcoming Star Award'.
The Lonesome River Band is one of his favorite groups but Tyler also writes his own music.
Keep up the good work Tyler! We'll be hearing you at a Bluegrass Festival real soon!!!
